We Made It!

Some 14 hours later, we're here in Kona! Though the girls and I were stuck at the airport with Mimi and Aunt Lauren for some time while Daddy and Pop-Pop dealt with some rental car trouble, and the only thing Hawaiian we had for the first hour or so after our arrival was an ALOHA sign next to the airport.

But the girls were patient, if a little sweaty, and soon enough we were headed to our home away from home for the week. We are sharing the top living space with Pop-Pop, Mimi, and Aunt Lauren, while our friends Seth, Stephanie, and baby Addison are staying in the first floor suite. The views from the house are amazing, and the sound of the ocean outside our bedroom window (along with the fact that we are dead tired after a long day of traveling) will surely mean a good night's sleep tonight!

Emily and Kate were so tired, in fact, that they couldn't even wait to get to bed. Rest up, girls, because we have a busy day of sightseeing tomorrow!
