A Day Without Pictures

We took the girls to the beach today, but you'll find no evidence of that here. There was a sandbar in the ocean which left a deep gully, too deep and with too strong a current for the girls to swim alone to the sandbar to jump waves, which meant they couldn't go in unsupervised. At least with Emmy and Kate, we managed man-on-man defense, but considering it's only Addie's second time at the beach, well, she needed help from both her parents. So alas, no pictures. 'Twas a sad, sad day...until Pop-Pop took us for a boat ride tonight and saved the day.

All was not for naught.
