This Cake Is Bananas

Well, technically strawberries, but B-A-N-A-N-A-S! I haven't had this cake since I was a kid (and Aunt Suzy used to get it for nearly every family function), and it was every bit as good as I remembered it today at Bonnie's shower. We had a laugh at all of us taking home giant slices, especially the fact that Mimi, the only one without any kids at home, took the biggest slice of all.



But enough about the cake! We were there to celebrate Bonnie and Mark and their soon-to-be baby boy! It was a great party, and Aunt Suzy and the rest of Bonnie's family did a fabulous job planning it. I was happy to be a part of it!






Marlo seemed pretty happy too. She's getting a baby brother, after all!
