Line 'Em Up

We arrived at Emily's preschool holiday party just in time to see the kids all lined up outside of the classroom before their musical performance. They were dressed to the nines, or as much as is appropriate for preschoolers who spend the morning running and playing and crafting.


We then went inside and found our seats as the kids walked into the classroom and found their spots along the line. Except for Jimmy who had a hard time staying on the line and ended up blocking our view of Emily for a good portion of the performance! Not that it mattered, really, because even though we couldn't always see her face, we could still hear her singing louder than anyone else. (One of the moms even commented that Emily was really belting it out over there. So much for her nervousness before we left for school this morning!)







After the performance, it was time to party! There were so many yummy treats, and of course Emmy and Kate kept going back for more and meeting up with friends like Ashley along the way.



After eating some treats (and spending too much time trying to keep Kate from taking a bite and putting it back), it was time for the parents and siblings as Mrs. M rounded up the class for storytime.
