Back in the Pool

While Daddy went to check in for his race, Emily and I hung out at the pool. I'm happy to say that she loved it just as much as she did last summer!



We always joke about getting her into triathlon training at an early age, and she's already learning how to kick!

After a little fun in the big pool, we took a little break...


...but not for long! We tried the baby pool next. Emmy was a little tentative about walking in the pool by herself at first, but soon she got the hang of it and had fun wading around and watching the other kids.




Time for another break! This time we took a walk, where Emily spotted a white ibis (I think) who let her get surprisingly close!




Then Daddy joined us, so it was back in the pool.





After some more kicking and swimming, they took a break to count the palm trees before doing some jumping and splashing together. You can tell by Emily's face how much she loved it!






Then it was time to dry off and do a little ... tai chi? with a banana peel?


Eventually we left the pool, had some dinner, got ready for bed, and made some late-night phone calls.
